Who ya doing it for

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as though you were working for the Lord and not for people” (Colossians 3:23)

I remember when I first gave my life to Christ, I was not for sure what I was suppose to do.
So I found a church settled in and submitted to my Pastors authority and just began to learn.
But this verse has always challenged me. I know some might say but your the Pastor but truth is truth.
There have been times when I have not done my secular Jobs as unto the Lord. but with age comes wisdom (lol I'm 40).
I found out that no matter where I am in the church or on the street or working a secular job, people are watching. So my question is;
Who are you living for and who are you doing it for.
Take the word IT out of the question and replace it with what ever your Job your relationships, your hobbies and do it for the Glory of God.
The scriptures teach us that we shall know the Truth and the truth will set us free.
only the truth we know sets us free. so be free from the thought that its just a job but look at it as your assignment from God, people are watching your life.

Remember that our greatest reward is in Heaven, even though God wants us to be blessed on earth we don't do it for the earthly reward but we live eat breath for him.

Be blessed and Go for all that God has for you!
and remember with God ALL things are Possible!

Birthday

This morning I woke up and had a notice on my phone from my google calendar, it said Spiritual birthday.
John 3:3 Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again,[a] you cannot see the Kingdom of God.”
4 “What do you mean?” exclaimed Nicodemus. “How can an old man go back into his mother’s womb and be born again?”
5 Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.[b] 6 Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life.[c] 7 So don’t be surprised when I say, ‘You[d] must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can’t explain how people are born of the Spirit.”

I was born into this world on July 27th 1969 and I pretty much lived an ungodly life I was shapped by my experiences and didnt realize All that I was doing. But on August 8 1991 @ 8:10 pm that all changed.
I was going to take my life because of the hurt and the guilt and shame that I had felt of my life, but then Jesus stepped in and told me that he would give me Life and that life more abundantly.
I accepted him at that moment not really having a full understanding of who he was but that Day I experienced what Jesus was talking about when he said you must be born again.

2 Corithians 17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
I was born again the old me was gone and a new one haad begun.
We have to choose to keep the old man burried and dead so the the new man the spiritual man the new man might Live.
Thank you Jesus for allowing me to be born again through the Spirit of God by believing in you.
God bless have a great weekend and remember that

Shaken or Stirred which are you?

Hey Whats up blog world
Just wanted to blog on that Phrase -
We need look into this a little further because with all the stuff that is going on in the world around us, we should not become shaken, but stirred to faith in God to make a way when there is no way.
Jesus Tells us that if we can believe, anything is possible Mk 9:23 NLT.
Stand strong and know that God is in control.
Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord!

We are excited about the plans that God has in store for both the City of Refuge in Ohio and Hamilton Life Center in Noblesville. Even though we have had some people exit in Ohio, God is bringing new people into place to help rebuild and continue the Kingdom of God.
And in Indy, God is bringing the ministry into shape, and He is molding it day by day into the vision that He had given us so many monthes before. We are looking forward to seeing the final rendering of His promise and the IMPACT it will have on Noblesville.
Don't forget...With God, all things are Possible!

Be Blessed
Pastor Tim
